V. User Accounts and Other Illegal Activity
* Regarding user accounts
Your user and/or tank name may not include any expression or form of obscene, vulgar, sexually-oriented, hateful, threatening, or otherwise violative any laws. The uTanks Staff reserves the right to remove or edit any user and/or tank names that violate this policy.

Accessing, or attempting to access, the accounts of other users is strictly prohibited. All intrusions will subject all of your accounts to immediate termination, regardless of whether or not the intrusion results in the corruption, loss, or theft of data.

Users are responsible for the security of their uTanks accounts. Users may not share their passwords or transfer via any means their accounts to others without the express permission of the uTanks staff. In addition, users are responsible for all of his/her own activity as well as for anyone else the user allows to use his/her account.

Creating or having in your possession more than one account is also prohibited. Our staff has the ability to check your IP and remove multiple accounts when necessary. If you have another person visiting the site that could have the same IP (e.g. another member of your household), please notify us in advance. This rule will also be enforced in the case of alternative account creation for the purpose of outmaneuvering or deceiving the uTanks Staff in any way.

Possible exceptions:
- If there is more than one person in a household that would like an account, then permission must be obtained first from an administrator or moderator. This will generally be allowed as long as there is no reason to believe that the exception is an attempt to abuse the intended purpose.
- If you open an extra account for technical reasons, then let an administrator or moderator know immediately. This will only be allowed on a short term basis, and the uTanks Staff has the right to refuse the request if this exception is being abused or not used for its intended purpose.

Any attempt to use these exceptions for deceitful purposes will be strictly dealt with.

* Regarding piracy, hacking, and other illegal activity
Pirated Materials, Cracks, Multiplayer Hacks and the like may not be used. 'Piracy' is the illegal copying and/or distribution of copyrighted content including, but not limited to, games, software, music, movies, pictures, ROMs, abandon-ware and leaked software. 'Cracks' are programs that disable copy-protection technology; 'Multiplayer Hacks' are any programs, patches, files, modifications or information exposure cheats that allow a player to gain an unfair advantage over other human opponents in a multiplayer game. The uTanks Staff reserves the right to delete, permanently ban, or otherwise take action against any and all perpetrators of such acts associated with any and all illegal activities.

The following is also included under the 'illegal activity' clause:
- Exploiting, or attempting to exploit, bugs, vulnerabilities, or loopholes; whether they are disclosed or undisclosed
- Penetrating, or attempting to penetrate, the security of uTanks' software or hardware, or electronic communications systems
- Altering others' works (eg. programs, media files, etc.)

Generally, breaking this rule will result in an instant permanent ban. However you may be given a warning for a first offense if, in our opinion, your condition applies; any subsequent offenses will result in a permanent ban.

Possible exceptions:
- If the game is undergoing a period of testing specified by the uTanks Staff, such as uTanks Alpha and uTanks Beta testing periods and/or any other predetermined testing periods as indicated by the uTanks Staff.

VI. User Submitted Content Agreement
By submitting content for a uTanks contest or otherwise unofficial compensation as agreed upon with the uTanks staff, users are willfully forfeiting any and all personal or otherwise commercial ownership rights to Bad Sheep Gaming. User submitted content includes, but is not limited to, screen shots, video footage, map designs and files, award designs and files, and user interface images and skins. Once submitted, whether officially used as a part of uTanks or not, user generated content becomes the sole property of Bad Sheep Gaming for any and all forms of use.
